2001 July 13
Agape Movement incorporated in the State of California with its office in Los Angeles.

2003 May 5
Agape Movement incorporated in the State of Illinois with its office in Chicago.

2004 August 16
Completion of a class room and start of home for the disabled at Agape Centre on 40 cents of land purchased by Fr. Abraham Mutholath for the care of the physically and mentally challenged.

2005 June 30
Start of the second stage construction of Agape Center at Cherpunkal in India.

2005 November 8
During the Pastoral Theology Course on Social Service held on November 8th at OLV School, Chicago organized by Chicago Knanaya Catholic Mission, the following persons volunteered to serve as members of Community Awareness and Fundraising Committee for Agape Movement:
Kalladanthy Rajan, Kannothara Roy, Karikkal Baby, Machanickal Bino, Muthukattil Joy, Naduveettil Lizy, Njaravelil Tessy, Puthenpurayil Dolly, Thazhathuvettath Jose, Thekkeparambil Sunny, and Vachachira Gracy (Coordinator).

2006 January 2
Blessing and inauguration of the fully completed Agape Centre at Cherpunkal in India. The property was handed over to Kottayam Social Service Society as the Sacerdotal Silver Jubille Gift of Fr. Abraham Mutholath who sponsored the land and building.

2007 April 15
Agape Observance at Chicago Sacred Heart Knanaya Catholic Church with Seminar on Christian Concept of Social Service by Fr. Michael Vettikkatt MSW, secretary of Kottayam Social Service Society.

2008 January 19
Sacred Heart Church blessing at Old Plon in Miao Diocese sponsored by Sacred Heart Kananya Catholic Parish of Chicago through Agape Movement. Thirty parishioners from Sacred Heart Knanaya Catholic Church in Chicago participated in this.

2008 January 20
Sts. Peter and Paul Church blessing at Kagang Mossang in the Diocese of Miao sponsored by Fr. Abraham Mutholath through Agape Movement. Thirty parishioners from Sacred Heart Knanaya Catholic Church in Chicago participated in this.

2008 January 21
Participants of pilgrimage from S.H. Knanaya Catholic Church Chicago, along with the St. Vincent de Paul Society of our parish sponsored the construction of St. George Church as the Sacerdotal Silver Jubilee Souvenir of Bishop George Pallipparambil.

Rev. Fr. Abraham Mutholath sponsored the construction of St. Jude Church for the immigrants in Miao from Bangladesh.

2008 August 3
Fr. Abraham Mutholath handed over sponsorship amount to Bishop Mar George Palliparambil to construct a church in the Diocese of Miao in the name of St. Mary’s on behalf of St. Mary’s Knanaya Catholic Unit in Chicago.

2009 January 19
Blessing of St. George Church in New Khamlang Village in the Diocese of Miao as souvenir of the Sacerdotal Silver Jubilee of Bishop Mar George Palliaparambil. Pilgrims from Sacred Heart Knanaya Catholic Parish of Chicago who visited the Diocese of Miao in 2008 and St. Vincent de Paul Society of this parish sponsored the construction of this church.

2010 May 2
Consecration of the Cathedral of the Diocese of Miao. The Madbaha of the Cathedral is sponsored by Sacred Heart Parish and St. Mary’s Unit. A huge statue of Jesus in front of the Cathedral was sponsored by vicar Fr. Abraham Mutholath who took part in the consecration of the Cathedral.

2010 August 7
Agape Store inauguration at St. Mary’s Knanaya Catholic Church, Chicago by Archbishop of Agra Most Rev. Dr. Albert D’Souza and blessing by Bishop of Miao Most Rev. Dr. George Palliparambil.

2011 May 12
Meeting of Agape office bearers and representatives from Koodarayogams of Sacred Heart and St. Mary’s Knanaya Catholic churches of Chicago at St. Mary’s Church.

2011 August 21
The blessing and inauguration of Samaritan Center at Cherpunkal sponsored by Fr. Abraham Mutholath. This center is social service resource center for self-help groups of the Archdiocese of Kottayam and a centenary souvenir of the diocese.

2011 September 11
Agape Day Celebration and Agape Ministry inauguration at Sacred Heart and St. Mary’s Knanaya Catholic churches, Chicago.

2011 October 6
Combined meeting of Agape Ministries of both parishes at St. Mary’s church after the church services.

2011 December 11
Seminar on Christian Commitment to the society at Sacred Heart Church, Maywood by Fr. Abraham Mutholath. Discussion on all Agape projects of the parish in India followed by practical discussion and decisions on our parish level programs.

2011 December 18
Seminar on Christian Commitment to the society at St. Mary’s Knanaya Catholic Church, Morton Grove by Fr. Abraham Mutholath. Discussion on all Agape projects of the parish in India followed by practical discussion and decisions on our parish level programs.

2012

2012 January 25
Inauguration of Agape Movement project at Kallar called, “Naomi Development Program” by Fr. Abraham Mutholath. This project is intended to organize and support self-help groups of the widows and widowers in various villages of the Malabar region under the leadership of Malabar Social Service Society (MASSS), the social service agency of the Archeparchy of Kottayam. The project was implemented for three years with the financial support of Agape Movement, the social service department of our Sacred Heart and St. Mary’s parishes.

2012 January 27
Inauguration of Agape Movement project called, “Family Renewal Program” by Ex-minister Mons Joseph MLA at Samaritan Center, Cherpunkal. This program is intended to educate people on the bad effects of alcohol addiction, which is the root cause for many of the health issues, social evils, financial crisis, suicides, and crimes in Kerala. Kottayam Social Service Society (KSSS), the social service agency of the Archeparchy of Kottayam implemented this project in various villages of its operation area. This project was implemented for three years with the financial support of Agape Movement.

2012 January 29
Inauguration of “Good Samaritan National Award” and distribution of the first award at Chaithanaya Pastoral Centre, Thellakom by Revenue Minister of Kerala State Mr. Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan. The award recipient was Ms. Dayabai, the famous social worker in Madhya Pradesh. This project is to recognize an outstanding social worker in India every year and award the person with Rs. 50,000 along with memento and certificate. KSSS is implementing this project by accepting nominations, appointing impartial jury, and organizing award ceremony. Agape Movement is supporting this program.

Inauguration of Agape Emergency Fund at Chaithanya Pastoral Centre, Thellakom. Since insurance is not available for most individuals and institutions, emergency situations like fire, accidents, flood, mudslide, lightning, snake bite, unexpected health issues cause financial crisis in the family for immediate care. This project is intended to release immediate financial assistance in such situations. His Grace Mar Mathew Moolakkatt inaugurated this project by receiving the first installment of capital fund from Fr. Abraham Mutholath on behalf of Agape Movement,

2012 March 11
Agape Canned Drive by Religious Education Students at the beginning of English Mass at St. Mary’s Church, Chicago.

2012 April 29
Fr. Abraham Mutholath started “Birthday Charity” at Mary’ Knanaya Catholic Church, Chicago by blessing those who have birthdays in each month. The offering given through Agape Movement are given for education aid in the Diocese of Kohima.
